It may be a mobile game, but this is still Borderlands , and that means one thing above all others: there will be lots and lots and lots of guns. The Legends ad promises "thousands of different weapons," which is well short of the "bazillions of guns" touted by the Borderlands 2 launch trailer , but should be more than sufficient to get the job done. How those weapons are acquired, though, appears to be somewhat different than in the console games. The ad notes that players can "collect in-game cash by destroying enemies and purchase new weapons." Does that mean that there won't be any random loot drops or chests to scour? It might. It might also be a clue that that players can get right to the good stuff via in-app purcha

Overall, Olympus is a very different map to World's Edge and Kings Canyon , both in appearance and gameplay. The roughly-circular design of the city allows for interesting rotation choices, and there's plenty of well-placed ziplines to get players where they need to go. In addition, the broad, open spaces are tailor-made for the new Trident vehicle, giving teams the opportunity to quickly reloc

Most of you who clicked on this article must already know, but please click for source years now, Falcom always releases one new game a year. And always on the last week of September. Hajimari no Kiseki is the sole exception as it launched on August 27, 2020. As such, it's surprising to hear Falcom will release at least two games in 2021. But makes sense considering it'll be a special year with the 40th annivers

Randy Pitchford has been vocal about his desire for a PlayStation Vita version of Borderlands 2 . As it turns out, there is a portable version of Borderlands on the way - and soon - but it won't be for Sony's handheld, and it won't be a port of Borderlands 2 . Instead, an all new game has been crafted for mobile platforms and tablets: Borderlands Legends , due before the end of the mo

Both cross-play, which is how Legends works right now on every device - you're playing against somebody who could be on any device - and, more importantly, cross-platform progression, which means no matter what you do on any platform, you load up the game and so long as you're logged in, here is all your progression, here is everything you had, everything you were do

If you were in the middle of a match on PC and I flipped that [he gestures at my laptop] closed while you're in the middle of a match and you load it up on your phone, you would be right back in the match where you were. That is a must for us on any platform. If we have to start segmenting our audience to say 'folks on this platform can only play folks on that platform', or 'any progress you make on that platform can't be there', then man, that's a bad situati

The Brady Games Borderlands 2 Digital Strategy Guide is responsible for blowing the cover off Borderlands Legends . An advertisement for Legends appears in the guide, and a copy of the ad made its way to the Borderlands 2 forums, though the post has apparently been deleted. No matter - images of the add itself are currently all over the net. Check it out be

"We continue to make our case for 'this is how it needs to work' and 'this is how it needs to function'. But we are moving ahead with the assumption that any platform we release it on must support cross-progression and cross-play. I am aware of the conflict that arises given that statement but we are continuing to work on

Falcom only develops on PS4, PS5 nowadays, with Switch and PC ports being handled by outside companies. Clouded Leopard Entertainment , who handles Asia localizations. And NIS America, who handles the Western localizations. As such it's likely the games Falcom launches in 2021 will first be exclusives to PS4 and

One way or another, we should know soon enough. But in fairness not just with Sony - with everybody. We need everybody to be on board and understand - Nintendo, Microsoft - this is how we're proceeding. I don't want anybody to think I'm trying to single Sony out because I'm not. These conversations we have, we have with everybody, including Apple and Goog

imageHe starts off by talking about Fallout 76, and how cross-play would be a nice feature for that game, but isn't required. He then moves onto The Elder Scrolls: Legends and describes how it is pivotal to the experience. The game is supposed to carry over progression from platform to platform and even allows players to switch between them mid-game. Pete Hines believes that only a "bad situation" will arise if Bethesda decided to segment the game's player b
