Piety Meter: Each time your attack hits a target, the Piety Meter increases. It also passively gains charge. At max charge, you can activate either Sacred Executioner or Holy Aura. Sacred Executioner enhances your Punish skills, while Holy Aura grants you and nearby allies 10% increased attack damage. You cannot gain Piety while either buff is active, and the gauge resets when either effect ends. Only one of these buffs can be active at a time.
Mechanically, Shadowhunters have two forms: human and demon. While in human form, you utilize melee and demonic-themed attacks to harm your foes. Damage done with any ability will build up a Shadowburst meter, demonic-themed abilities granting more energy. When the gauge reaches 100%, you can transform into a demon temporarily, granting an immense boost to your health and movement speed while active. It’s worth making it to the end of the game, currently set at level 50. Lost Ark’s endgame content is fantastic. If the story doesn’t grab you - and it might not - then rest assured that your hours aren’t going to be wasted. The PvE and PvP endgame content is so good, and extremely addictive.
