While many players loved all that it had to offer, Death Stranding continues to be divisive among players who did not catch on to its unique brand of gameplay. That isn't to say that the original is perfect, though. These are some of the things that should not return in a Death Stranding sequel, ranging from the game's human enemies to repetitive gameplay and finicky transportat

Actress and singer Stefanie Joosten became a seemingly overnight success after she portrayed the character of Quiet in The Phantom Pain . Joosten both voiced the character and did the motion capture work, leaving her own stamp on what turned out to be the game's fan-favorite character. Despite barely speaking, Quiet was an important character that opened up doors in the video game industry for Joosten, and fans have been hoping for her and Kojima to reunite. Joosten revealed that Kojima initially approached her to play Death Stranding 's Fragile, a character that ended up being portrayed by Lea Seydoux. While Kojima went a different route when casting Fragile, a new Death Stranding game __ would be the perfect opportunity to give Joosten another interesting r

NDAs clearly have no power over the rowdy biker, who was more than happy to talk about how he landed the role and how it felt to work alongside Hideo Kojima (and how different Death Stranding is from Ms. Pac-Man), all before letting us know that apparently he is already back on the volume to return to his role as Sam Porter Bridges. The developer himself responded to the recent news with a playful tweet featuring himself and Reedus, threatening to bludgeon his face in with a baseball bat for leaking the game’s existence. It’s a fun little nod to The Walking Dead , while also making it clear there are no hard feelings between the two.

The announcement of the upcoming game gives plenty for Kojima fans to look forward to. To find out more about the upcoming game, gamers will likely have to keep an eye on his Twitter and an ear to his podcast titled Brain Structure . In addition to Death Stranding 2 , gamers can also expect an Xbox game from Kojima. According to rumors, the game is titled Overdose , and it is a horror title that will feature Margaret Qual

Death Stranding 's vehicles are very clunky and handle very poorly even on straight, even terrain. The vehicles need to be revamped at the least if not removed entirely. Despite often being the best choice for transporting packages, driving vehicles is a chore especially when there are far more interesting and innovative methods of travel. The slingshot, zipline, and robot sled are unique methods of transportation design and are often faster and more fun to use than vehicles. These types of movement should be more encouraged in a Death Stranding sequel. Creating differed, uneven terrain would lend well to this and would cause players to lean more heavily into Death Stranding 's multiplayer social features as players explore and create new transportation netwo

No one expected Higgs to survive the events of Death Stranding , considering he was the ultimate villain of the game. Higgs is as bad as they come, and isn’t afraid to torture people, or destroy entire cities to further his goal. It’s what makes him a vicious antagonist, and somewhat of a charmer thanks to Troy Ba

Although the trailer for Death Stranding 2 features singing from Troy Baker, and a potential appearance of his golden mask, it’s unclear if Higgs is behind the new threat for Death Stranding 2 or not. Hopefully, he has some involvement, as Higgs was a fun charac

It's unclear which of Kojima's favorite actors would be invited to join the Death Stranding universe if there were a sequel, but there are some performers who feel especially suited to starring in a Kojima game. From actors Kojima has worked with before to some who may not be aware of his work, here are the actors who would be the best additions to Death Stranding

While the landscape of Death Stranding looks nothing like the America we know today, the changes are mostly explained by Death Stranding’s Timefall phenomenon, apart from the smaller scope of the map. After the titular incident called the Death Stranding took place, the barrier between the world of the living and the dead weakened. Timefall was one of the accompanying symptoms, a form of rain that causes whatever it falls on to age rapidly. In gameplay terms, Timefall can erode the integrity of Sam’s containers, which imperils the cargo within them. The Timefall could also be the reason for the absence of animals in Death Stranding’s America as well as the changes to the landscape. Porters wear protective gear to avoid Timefall aging them prematurely, a process that shapes the backstory of the character of Fragile and her vendetta against Hi

A simple variation on missions can be a big improvement for those looking for a change of pace from Death Stranding 's walking simulation and cargo management . Perhaps the player has to retrieve a package from BT-infested lands or has navigate to this site eliminate a particularly strong BT threatening a route. Maybe another Mule had to drop their delivery and Sam has to pick it up and finish it. Anything to change up the mundane formula would be much more fun for those that need the change of pace while ultimately not affecting the overall feel of the g
